Ms. Pebbles is a Silver Labrador. She is a sweet pettite girl weighing about 58-60 lbs. which is considered small for a Lab female.
She has two Chocolate parents carring the Silver gene which is what caused her coat color to be Silver. Silver Labradors are registered as Chocolate with the AKC and are considered chocolate. If bred to a chocolate father, Ms. Pebbles would produce Chocolate pups. If bred to a Silver father, Ms. Pebbles would produce Silver pups. Pebbles can be a little shy until she gets comfortable around new people but that doesn't take long, since she loves to play and to cuddle.
Pebbles loves plush toys and playing hide and go seek. She's a very gentle girl and a sweetheart but she can also be very protective of her pups, her surroundings, and her space if she feels there is a threat. This pretty girl has turned out to be a fabulous mother to her puppies. She's been very attentive and has enjoyed playing with them while she is nursing. We are excited for her little ones and to watch and see how they grow.
Pebbles has had her preliminary X-Rays for hips and elbows. They were determined to be 'normal' for age. Her final OFA certification will be completed soon.
